55 WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate
66 the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of
77 our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to
88 recognize the exemplary service of Judge Annabell Perez; and
99 WHEREAS, Judge Perez has distinguished herself through her
1010 dedicated efforts as judge of the 41st District Court, and the skill
1111 and professionalism she has demonstrated in this important role
1212 have earned her the respect and admiration of her fellow Texans; and
1313 WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Judge
1414 Perez greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her
1515 achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in the
1616 judiciary; and
1717 WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate
1818 and engaged leaders like Judge Annabell Perez, and she may take
1919 justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example
2020 she has set for others; now, therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2222 Legislature hereby commend Judge Annabell Perez for her service as
2323 judge of the 41st District Court and extend to her sincere best
2424 wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
2525 further
2626 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2727 prepared for Judge Perez as an expression of high regard by the
2828 Texas House of Representatives.
