66 WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate
77 the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of
88 our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to
99 recognize the exemplary service of Judge Bonnie Rangel; and
1010 WHEREAS, Judge Rangel has distinguished herself through her
1111 dedicated efforts as judge of the 171st District Court, and the
1212 skill and professionalism she has demonstrated in this important
1313 role have earned her the respect and admiration of her fellow
1414 Texans; and
1515 WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Judge
1616 Rangel greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her
1717 achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in the
1818 judiciary; and
1919 WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate
2020 and engaged leaders like Judge Bonnie Rangel, and she may take
2121 justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example
2222 she has set for others; now, therefore, be it
2323 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2424 Legislature hereby commend Judge Bonnie Rangel for her service as
2525 judge of the 171st District Court and extend to her sincere best
2626 wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
2727 further
2828 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2929 prepared for Judge Rangel as an expression of high regard by the
3030 Texas House of Representatives.
