R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Julie Moore was honored as the Joe B. Fulgham
Agriculturalist of the Year at the 2022 Henderson County Farm and
Ranch Tour luncheon; and
WHEREAS, Presented by the Athens Chamber of Commerce, this
annual award recognizes individuals for their contributions to the
agriculture industry and for their community leadership; and
WHEREAS, For many years, Julie Moore has supported area youth
through her work with 4-H in Henderson County; moreover, she has
dedicated herself to helping further the mission of the Texas A&M
AgriLife county extension office; and
WHEREAS, Julie Moore has demonstrated an unwavering
commitment to the continued growth and vitality of agriculture in
Henderson County, and she may indeed take great pride in her receipt
of this notable accolade; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Julie Moore on her selection as the
2022 Joe B. Fulgham Agriculturalist of the Year in Henderson County
and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Moore as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
