| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |

| 6 | 6 | | the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |

| 7 | 7 | | our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | recognize the exemplary service of Dionne Mack; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Mack has distinguished herself through her |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | dedicated efforts as a deputy city manager for the City of El Paso, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated in this |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | important role have earned her the respect and admiration of her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | fellow Texans; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Ms. Mack |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her achievements make |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | her a worthy role model for other women in municipal government; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |

| 18 | 18 | | and engaged leaders like Dionne Mack, and she may take justifiable |

| 19 | 19 | | pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example she has set |

| 20 | 20 | | for others; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby commend Dionne Mack for her service as a deputy |

| 23 | 23 | | city manager for the City of El Paso and extend to her sincere best |

| 24 | 24 | | wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
