55 WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate
66 the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of
77 our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to
88 recognize the exemplary service of Judge Rebeca Bustamante; and
99 WHEREAS, Judge Bustamante has distinguished herself through
1010 her dedicated efforts as justice of the peace for El Paso County
1111 Precinct 4, and the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated
1212 in this important role have earned her the respect and admiration of
1313 her fellow Texans; and
1414 WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Judge
1515 Bustamante greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her
1616 achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in the
1717 judiciary; and
1818 WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate
1919 and engaged leaders like Judge Rebeca Bustamante, and she may take
2020 justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example
2121 she has set for others; now, therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2323 Legislature hereby commend Judge Rebeca Bustamante for her service
2424 as justice of the peace for El Paso County Precinct 4 and extend to
2525 her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors;
2626 and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2828 prepared for Judge Bustamante as an expression of high regard by the
2929 Texas House of Representatives.
