 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout is an achievement shared by
 only a select few, and the attainment of this significant honor by
 Mario Alexis Sevilla of Fate heralds a future bright with
 opportunity and promise; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Sevilla has mastered a number of important
 skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout; he has earned merit
 badges requiring expertise in such diverse areas as first aid,
 personal fitness, and environmental science, and he has gained
 experience in leadership and teamwork while undertaking an Eagle
 Scout project that has contributed to the betterment of his
 community; and
 WHEREAS, A founding member of Scouts BSA Troop No. 163 in
 Fate, Mr. Sevilla is the first Eagle Scout from the group; he has
 ably served his peers in a designated position of responsibility,
 and in so doing, he has exemplified the many positive traits for
 which Scouts are renowned; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Sevilla is currently a senior at Royse City High
 School; after graduation, he plans on enlisting in the U.S. Army;
 and
 WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for
 attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Mario Sevilla has demonstrated
 an unwavering commitment to Scouts BSA and its ideals, and the
 knowledge and confidence he has acquired along the way will indeed
 serve him well in the years to come; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Eagle Scout Mario Alexis Sevilla on
 achieving this prestigious rank and extend to him sincere best
 wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Sevilla as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
