5	5	WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate
6	6	the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of
7	7	our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to
8	8	recognize the exemplary service of Judge Nina Serna; and
9	9	WHEREAS, Judge Serna has distinguished herself through her
10	10	dedicated efforts as justice of the peace for El Paso County
11	11	Precinct 6 Place 2, and the skill and professionalism she has
12	12	demonstrated in this important role have earned her the respect and
13	13	admiration of her fellow Texans; and
14	14	WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Judge
15	15	Serna greatly benefits the citizens she serves, and her
16	16	achievements make her a worthy role model for other women in the
17	17	judiciary; and
18	18	WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate
19	19	and engaged leaders like Judge Nina Serna, and she may take
20	20	justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example
21	21	she has set for others; now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
23	23	Legislature hereby commend Judge Nina Serna for her service as
24	24	justice of the peace for El Paso County Precinct 6 Place 2 and
25	25	extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
26	26	endeavors; and, be it further
27	27	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
28	28	prepared for Judge Serna as an expression of high regard by the
29	29	Texas House of Representatives.
