7 | 7 | | women and their families during Blue Ribbon Lobby Day at the State |

9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Blue Ribbon Lobby Day brings together members of |

10 | 10 | | Texas Democratic Women and other concerned women and leaders from |

11 | 11 | | around the state to draw attention to issues of importance to Texas |

12 | 12 | | women, including public education, health care, and economic |
---|
13 | 13 | | security; and |

14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, During this day of action, Democratic women are |

15 | 15 | | meeting with legislators to discuss the need to ensure that women |

16 | 16 | | have equal opportunities and that their rights are equally |

17 | 17 | | protected in order that Texas' prosperity may continue; organizers |

18 | 18 | | for this year's event include Mary Ho, Sue Barrick, Daysi Marin, |

19 | 19 | | Farha Ahmed, Mary Morrison, Sofia Sheikh, Kawanda Miller Polk, |
