R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rosa Chavez-Avedician has earned great distinction
with her outstanding service as principal of James P. Butler
Elementary School in the Socorro Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the
students, faculty, and staff of James P. Butler Elementary School,
Ms. Chavez-Avedician has led the way in fostering a supportive and
challenging educational environment on campus; and
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing
vitality of our state, and Rosa Chavez-Avedician is playing an
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Rosa Chavez-Avedician for her
contributions as principal of James P. Butler Elementary School and
extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Chavez-Avedician as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
