| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The family and friends of Lacy Lea Pruski of Poth |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | suffered an immeasurable loss with her passing on March 18, 2023, at |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the age of 39; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Jerry and Sunny Pruski, Lacy Pruski |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | was born on May 30, 1983, and she grew up with the companionship of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | two sisters, Amy and Lauren; she attended Falls City High School and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | went on to graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio with |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | a bachelor's degree in communication; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Pruski enjoyed a rewarding career as the human |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | resources manager for Karnes County; a passionate advocate for |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | education, she was a founding member and the inaugural president of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the La Vernia Education Foundation, and at the time of her passing, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | she was running for a seat on the Poth Independent School District |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | School Board; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Above all else, Ms. Pruski was a caring mother to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | her two daughters, Audrey and Olivia; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Although she will be deeply missed, the passage of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | time will never diminish the joy and love that Lacy Pruski brought |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | into the lives of all who knew her; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Lacy Lea Pruski and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | extend heartfelt condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | parents, Jerry and Sunny Pruski; to her children, Audrey and Olivia |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Felux; to her sisters, Amy Pruski and Lauren Ploch and her husband, |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Ryan; to her nieces, Caroline and Eleanor Ploch; and to her many |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | other relatives and friends; and, be it further |

| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
