| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin |

| 6 | 6 | | Mary in Cestohowa are celebrating the 150th anniversary of their |

| 7 | 7 | | church's founding in 2023; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since its organization in 1873, the Nativity of the |

| 9 | 9 | | Blessed Virgin Mary has benefited from the dedicated efforts of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | many outstanding clergy, including the Reverend Wieslaw Iwaniec, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | who leads the congregation today; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, United by their shared faith and strong traditions, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the members of this notable house of worship have established a |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | variety of commendable programs that foster fellowship and offer |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | help to those in need; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Countless Cestohowa residents have looked to the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary for spiritual guidance over the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | years, and it is a pleasure to join in honoring the church at this |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | special time in its rich history; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the 150th anniversary of the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cestohowa and extend to its |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | members sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
