| 11 | 11 | | recipients qualify based on their certifications, professional |

| 12 | 12 | | activities, and effectiveness, as well as on the training completed |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | by the organization's leadership and staff; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated to providing competitive financial |

| 15 | 15 | | incentives to companies that invest in its community, The Colony |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | EDC is one of only 55 organizations to receive an Economic |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Excellence Recognition Award for 2022; it has further distinguished |

| 18 | 18 | | itself by earning this prestigious accolade for the past 15 |

| 19 | 19 | | consecutive years; and |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The Colony EDC is making vital contributions to the |

| 21 | 21 | | prosperity and economic vitality of The Colony, and it is indeed |

| 22 | 22 | | deserving of this most recent honor; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
