5	5	WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
6	6	memories of Saundra Gail Cullins Holland of Rockwall, who passed
7	7	away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 59; and
8	8	WHEREAS, The former Saundra Cullins was born in Heath on July
9	9	1, 1963, to Ila and Douglas Cullins, and she enjoyed a close bond
10	10	with her sisters, Dana and Terri; she graduated from Rockwall High
11	11	School in 1981, and the following year, she married Lance Holland,
12	12	whom she had known since the fifth grade; the couple became the
13	13	devoted parents of a son, Justin; and
14	14	WHEREAS, As a young wife and mother, Mrs. Holland was
15	15	employed as a legal assistant for the law office of Donald
16	16	R. Stodghill; she later worked alongside her husband to grow their
17	17	family business, Regal Realtors, and in addition to being the
18	18	company's co-owner, she served as a licensed agent, real estate
19	19	assistant, and compliance officer; over the years, she was a
20	20	supportive presence for many of the agents who worked for the
21	21	company, and she was honored on multiple occasions with its "Most
22	22	Valuable Player" award; and
23	23	WHEREAS, Family was always Mrs. Holland's foremost priority;
24	24	she and her husband shared nearly 30 years of marriage before his
25	25	passing in 2011, and she took great pride in their son and in their
26	26	two granddaughters, Wiley and Emma; she enjoyed cheering on her
27	27	loved ones at sports games, cheer competitions, and dance recitals
28	28	and going on cruises, family beach vacations, and trips with her
29	29	friends; she also found great comfort and inspiration in her faith;
30	30	and
31	31	WHEREAS, Saundra Holland lived a life that was rich in the
32	32	intangibles that matter most, and she will be remembered with deep
33	33	admiration and affection by all those who held her dear; now,
34	34	therefore, be it
35	35	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
36	36	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Saundra Gail
37	37	Cullins Holland and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of her
38	38	family: to her son, State Representative Justin Holland, and his
39	39	wife, Neely; to her granddaughters, Wiley Beth Holland and Emma
40	40	Cullins Holland; to her sisters, Dana Kay Macalik and her husband,
41	41	Jeff, and Terri Raye Ferguson and her husband, James; to her
42	42	sister-in-law, Dawn Ewing, and brother-in-law, Rodney Holland; to
43	43	her nieces and nephews; and to her many other relatives and friends;
44	44	and, be it further
45	45	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
46	46	prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
47	47	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Saundra
48	48	Holland.
