| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 301.168, Occupations Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 301.168. DUTIES REGARDING PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | AGREEMENTS. (a) The board shall in conjunction with the Texas |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Medical Board and the Texas Physician Assistant Board perform the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | functions and duties relating to prescriptive authority agreements |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | assigned to the board in Sections 157.0512 and 157.0513. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (b) The board shall post on the board's Internet website |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | information regarding advanced practice registered nurses who have |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | entered into prescriptive authority agreements with physicians. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | The information must include: |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (1) the names of the physician and advanced practice |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | registered nurse who have entered into the agreement; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | (2) the physician's practice specialty; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (3) the address of the physician's practice location; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | (4) if different from the address under Subdivision |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (3), the address where the advanced practice registered nurse |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | practices. |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | SECTION 2. As soon as practicable after the effective date |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of this Act, the Texas Board of Nursing shall make the information |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | required by Section 301.168(b), Occupations Code, as added by this |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Act, available on the board's Internet website. |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
