10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 552, Government Code, is | |
11 | 11 | amended by adding Section 552.163 to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | Sec. 552.163. EXCEPTION: CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION | |
13 | 13 | REGARDING FRAUD DETECTION AND DETERRENCE MEASURES AND | |
14 | 14 | COUNTERTERRORISM MEASURES. Information in the custody of a | |
15 | 15 | governmental body that relates to fraud detection and deterrence | |
16 | 16 | measures or counterterrorism measures is confidential and excepted | |
17 | 17 | from the requirements of Section 552.021. | |
18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
