A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to number of races displayed on an electronic system
ballot screen at a time.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 124, Election Code, is
amended by adding Section 124.067 to read as follows:
Sec. 124.067. NUMBER OF RACES ON BALLOT SCREEN. An
electronic system ballot on which a voter indicates a vote by making
a mark on the ballot may not display fewer than two or more than four
races on a voting system screen at a time.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
