The bill would amend Transportation Code, Section 623.219, relating to route designations for port authority permits, and Section 623.363, relating to regional mobility authority (RMA) permits, for the movement of oversize or overweight vehicles carrying cargo on state highways located in certain counties, to designate additional state highway routes on the authorized oversize/overweight vehicle corridors specified under these sections.   Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThe bill would authorize additional state highway routes subject to RMA and port authority oversize/overweight vehicle permits issued by the Hidalgo County RMA and the Port of Harlingen.
