A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a bond in an appeal from a hearing for probable cause in
the towing or booting of a motor vehicle.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2308.459, Occupations Code, is amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 2308.459. APPEAL. An appeal from a hearing under this
chapter is governed by the rules of procedure applicable to civil
cases in justice court[, except that no appeal bond may be required
by the court].
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
