88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. The heading to Subchapter E, Chapter 273,
1010 Election Code, is amended to read as follows:
1111 SUBCHAPTER E. INJUNCTION OR RESTRAINING ORDER
1212 SECTION 2. Subchapter E, Chapter 273, Election Code, is
1313 amended by adding Section 273.082 to read as follows:
1414 Sec. 273.082. TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER; NOTICE. As soon
1515 as practicable before a hearing in an action under this code seeking
1616 a temporary restraining order, a court must notify the attorney
1717 general of the hearing.
1818 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
