Local Government ImpactEach school district and open-enrollment charter school would be required to develop an advanced mathematics program for middle school students that is designed to enable those students who qualify to enroll in Algebra I in eighth grade. Therefore, school districts and open-enrollment charter schools may incur costs implementing an advanced mathematics program.
