| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 2210.2031(a), Insurance Code, is amended |

| 9 | 9 | | to read as follows: |

| 10 | 10 | | (a) The association shall establish a process for automatic |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | renewal of a residential property policy in accordance with this |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | section. |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
