This bill would add Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) reporting requirements specific to educational programs for gifted and talented (G/T) students. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. Local Government ImpactSchool districts would be required to annually report G/T administrators, grade levels for G/T identification, and the number of counselors providing counseling services. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
