| 8 | 8 | | Transportation of highway signs for certain cultural attractions. |

| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. (a) Subject to Subsection (b) of this section and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | not later than September 1, 2024, the Texas Department of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Transportation shall erect and maintain for the following routes |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | highway signs guiding road users to the Koreatown District in the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Northwest Dallas neighborhood of Dallas: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (1) the exits for Royal Lane from northbound and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | southbound Interstate Highway 35E; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (2) the exits for Luna Road from eastbound and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | westbound Interstate Highway 635. |

| 19 | 19 | | (b) A sign erected under this section may not violate the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices or the Manual on |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Uniform Traffic Control Devices issued by the United States |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
