| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Article 103.009, Code of Criminal Procedure, is | |
| 10 | 10 | amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (e) An officer who has been provided a computerized case and | |
| 12 | 12 | financial management system by the county shall: | |
| 13 | 13 | (1) maintain the information described by Subsection | |
| 14 | 14 | (a) in the system; and | |
| 15 | 15 | (2) provide the complete computerized fee record in | |
| 16 | 16 | hard-copy form for purposes of satisfying the requirements of | |
| 17 | 17 | Article 103.001. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
