55 relating to the operation of statewide technology centers.
66 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
77 SECTION 1. Section 2054.378, Government Code, is amended by
88 amending Subsection (a) and adding Subsection (c) to read as
99 follows:
1010 (a) The department may operate statewide technology centers
1111 to provide [two or more] governmental entities, on a cost-sharing
1212 basis, services relating to:
1313 (1) information resources and information resources
1414 technology; and
1515 (2) the deployment, development, and maintenance of
1616 software applications.
1717 (c) The department by rule shall specify the services a
1818 statewide technology center may provide.
1919 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
