| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Honorable Jack Robison, who retired on December 31, |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | 2022, after 28 years of distinguished service as district judge |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | for the 207th Judicial District; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Judge Robison attended Southwest Missouri State |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | University, after which he earned his law degree from |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Saint Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio; he served |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | as a municipal judge for the City of Boerne, where he fulfilled |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | his duties with fairness and a concern for individual rights and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | respect for the law; on January 1, 1995, Judge Robison began his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | term as the district judge for the 207th Judicial District, which |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | serves Comal, Hays, and Caldwell Counties; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A champion for justice and a guardian of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | people, Judge Robison adjudicated civil and criminal matters in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | his court; he presided over cases involving land disputes, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | divorces, and felony trials within the counties he was elected to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | protect; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Diligent and principled, Judge Robison executed |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | his responsibilities with diplomacy and impartiality; he is |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | widely respected by his colleagues and members of the community |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | for the high standard he has set for future generations of local |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | leaders and lawmakers; after decades of exemplary service, Judge |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Robison leaves his district with a legacy of purpose, commitment, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | and honor; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature, hereby commend Judge Jack Robison on his invaluable |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | contributions to Texas throughout 28 years of service and extend |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | to him congratulations on his retirement and best wishes for the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | future; and, be it further |

| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
