1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 222
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	join the citizens of Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, and the
4	4	surrounding communities in celebrating February 27 and 28, 2023,
5	5	as Golden Triangle Days in Austin; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Days in Austin was established in
7	7	2007, when leaders from the Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange
8	8	chambers of commerce decided to combine their advocacy efforts
9	9	during sessions of the Texas Legislature; and
10	10	WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Days in Austin provides an
11	11	opportunity for citizens to build business relationships with
12	12	others throughout Southeast Texas and with state officials and
13	13	agency directors; representatives from Beaumont, Bridge City,
14	14	Groves, Nederland, Orange, Port Arthur, Port Neches, and Vidor
15	15	are attending the event; and
16	16	WHEREAS, The chambers of commerce from the Golden Triangle
17	17	are truly deserving of special recognition for their efforts to
18	18	organize this event for the benefit of Southeast Texas families
19	19	and businesses; now, therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
21	21	Legislature, hereby extend best wishes for a rewarding and
22	22	memorable event to those attending Golden Triangle Days in
23	23	Austin; and, be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
25	25	honor of this special occasion.
