| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Considered one of the top center backs in the |

| 6 | 6 | | nation, Ms. Roller helped lead the U.S. Under-17 Women's Youth |

| 7 | 7 | | National Team to the overall title at the 2022 Concacaf Women's |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | U-17 Championship, which took place from April 23 through May 8 |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | in the Dominican Republic; in September, she further |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | distinguished herself by making the U.S. team roster for the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup; serving as a U.S. captain, |

| 12 | 12 | | she played a vital role in sparking her squad to the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | quarterfinals of the prestigious competition, which was held |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | in October in India; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A senior at Gunter High School, Ms. Roller has |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | been ranked No. 13 overall and as the No. 4 defender in the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | TopDrawerSoccer Class of 2023, and she has signed a letter of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | intent to compete for the Duke University women's soccer team; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | she has honed her skills as a member of the Solar Soccer Club, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | earning top conference honors for the 2021-2022 season and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | First Team recognition in 2020-2021; an all-around athlete, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | she has also competed as a member of the Gunter High girls' |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | track team; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, By excelling on the soccer field, Cameron Roller |

| 25 | 25 | | has brought tremendous pride to her community, and her achievements |

| 26 | 26 | | truly merit special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Cameron Roller for her |

| 29 | 29 | | outstanding achievements in international soccer competitions and |
