SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 291
WHEREAS, T. Beck Gipson concluded his service as the
Precinct 2 commissioner for the Kerr County Commissioners Court
in 2022; and
WHEREAS, First taking office in August 2021, Mr. Gipson
served his fellow citizens with distinction throughout his
notable tenure, and he was instrumental in helping the county
through several land purchases; and
WHEREAS, A real estate broker, appraiser, and consultant,
Mr. Gipson has owned Gipson Real Estate Services in Kerrville
since 1979; he is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he holds a
bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Texas Tech
University; active in his community, he has served in leadership
roles with the Appraisal Institute San Antonio Chapter, the
Kerrville Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Upper
Guadalupe River Authority; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment
to good governance, Beck Gipson has helped make Kerr County an
even better place in which to live and work, and he has set a
standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby commend T. Beck Gipson for his service as
Kerr County commissioner for Precinct 2 and extend to him sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mr. Gipson as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
