	6	+	WHEREAS, T. Beck Gipson concluded his service as the Precinct
	7	+	2 commissioner for the Kerr County Commissioners Court in 2022; and
5	8		WHEREAS, First taking office in August 2021, Mr. Gipson
6		-	served his fellow citizens with distinction throughout his
7		-	~~notable~~ tenure, and he was instrumental in helping the county
8		-	~~through~~ several land purchases; and

9	12		WHEREAS, A real estate broker, appraiser, and consultant,
10		-	Mr. Gipson has owned Gipson Real Estate Services in Kerrville
11		-	since 1979; he is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he holds a
12		-	bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Texas Tech
13		-	University; active in his community, he has served in leadership
14		-	roles with the Appraisal Institute San Antonio Chapter, the
15		-	Kerrville Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Upper
16		-	Guadalupe River Authority; and
17		-	WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment
18		-	to good governance, Beck Gipson has helped make Kerr County an
19		-	even better place in which to live and work, and he has set a
20		-	standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now,
21		-	therefore, be it
22		-	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
23		-	Legislature, hereby commend T. Beck Gipson for his service as
24		-	Kerr County commissioner for Precinct 2 and extend to him sincere
25		-	best wishes for the future; and, be it further
