1-SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 318
2- WHEREAS, Dianne Gattuso, a longtime employee of the Office
3- of the Secretary of State, has enjoyed an outstanding career with
4- the State of Texas spanning five decades; and
5- WHEREAS, Following an almost three-year tenure with the
6- Texas Highway Department, Ms. Gattuso accepted a position with
7- the Office of the Secretary of State on September 2, 1975; she
8- served the agency with distinction for 27 years, and after a
9- brief retirement, she rejoined the office's staff in December
10- 2002; she has held numerous roles with the agency, and she
11- currently serves as the executive assistant and trademark
12- administrator for the business filings division directors; and
13- WHEREAS, Ms. Gattuso's many responsibilities include
14- helping with the preparation of quarterly reports, managing the
15- phone systems, and providing assistance and support to the
16- section's management; moreover, she has earned the respect and
17- admiration of her colleagues for her dedication, generosity, and
18- energetic nature; and
19- WHEREAS, Through her hard work, skill, and
20- professionalism, Dianne Gattuso has greatly benefited her
21- agency and the citizens of the Lone Star State, and she is
22- indeed deserving of recognition for her contributions; now,
23- therefore, be it
24- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
25- Legislature, hereby honor Dianne Gattuso for her 50 years of
26- service to the State of Texas and extend to her sincere best
27- wishes for continued success; and, be it further
