2	6		WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	7		recognize NBT Financial Bank on the occasion of its 50th
4	8		anniversary, which it will celebrate on October 8, 2023; and
5	9		WHEREAS, Originally called the National Bank of Texas at
6	10		Fort Worth, NBT Financial Bank was organized in 1973 by a group of
7	11		Fort Worth community leaders who saw the need for a local bank
8	12		where customers could receive community-oriented financial
9	13		services and advice to develop their businesses; and
10	14		WHEREAS, NBT Financial Bank has been consistently
11	15		recognized for its dedication to customer service, its financial
12	16		strength, and its position as a market leader in the Greater Fort
13	17		Worth area; and
14	18		WHEREAS, For five decades, NBT Financial Bank has been a
15	19		locally owned and independent community bank that provides
16	20		prompt, courteous service and looks to establish long-term
17	21		relationships with customers and to be a vital part of the
18	22		economies of Fort Worth, Azle, Burleson, Hurst, Willow Park, and
19	23		surrounding cities; and
20	24		WHEREAS, NBT Financial Bank has the reputation of being
21	25		Fort Worth's hometown bank by virtue of offering superb service
22	26		to its many on-site and online customers; the bank now has four
23	27		branches that contribute to the local economy and provide
24	28		business owners with funds and resources to enable their
25	29		businesses to grow; now, therefore, be it
26	30		RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
27	31		Legislature, hereby commend NBT Financial Bank as it celebrates
28	32		its 50th anniversary and extend to its customers, career
29	33		associates, and shareholders best wishes on the bank's continued
30	34		success in the future; and, be it further
31	35		RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
32	36		the bank in honor of this special occasion.
