| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is widely acclaimed |

| 7 | 7 | | and esteemed for its success in developing leadership and in |

| 8 | 8 | | nurturing good citizenship and patriotism in young men; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is sponsoring a |

| 10 | 10 | | legislative seminar to educate its members about the process of |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | democratic government, both in theory and in practice; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, This valuable and comprehensive educational program |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | will attract participants from throughout the state to acquaint |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | DeMolay members with legislative procedures; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The DeMolay legislative seminar is to be held in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Austin on February 11 and 12, 2023, and February 10 and 11, 2024; |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The Texas Senate heartily endorses the goals and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | ideals of the Texas DeMolay Association legislative seminar; now, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature, in |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | accordance with Senate rules of procedure and policies of the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Senate Administration Committee, hereby grant the Texas DeMolay |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Association permission to use the Senate Chamber in the State |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Capitol on February 11 and 12, 2023, and February 10 and 11, 2024, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | for its legislative seminar, unless the Texas Senate is in session |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | on those dates. |
