56 | 53 | | community; he enjoyed tending to his cattle, cheering for the |

57 | 54 | | Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his |

58 | 55 | | beloved children and his grandsons; a man of deep and abiding |

59 | 56 | | faith, Gus was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in |

60 | 57 | | Brenham and a steadfast leader of the Brenham community; and |

61 | 58 | | WHEREAS, Gus Mutscher was a man of strength, wisdom, and |

62 | 59 | | fierce determination; he will forever be remembered for his bold |

64 | 61 | | future for every resident of the Lone Star State, and he leaves |

66 | 63 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
