11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 511
22 WHEREAS, May 27, 2023, marks the 50th wedding anniversary
33 of Robert and Judy Moore of Austin, and this joyous event
44 provides a fitting opportunity to reflect on their rewarding
55 journey together as husband and wife; and
66 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moore first met in San Antonio in
77 1969 and were joined in matrimony in 1973 at Trinity Lutheran
88 Church in Fort Worth; over the years, they have been blessed with
99 a treasured family that includes their daughters, Danielle and
1010 Courtney, as well as their grandchildren, Brecken, Bolton,
1111 Lucas, and Niko; and
1212 WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and
1313 Mrs. Moore are both graduates of The University of Texas at
1414 Austin; Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired
1515 from Travis County, and Mrs. Moore has been a vice president at
1616 Prospera Financial Services since 1999; they have also been
1717 active members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for more
1818 than three decades; and
1919 WHEREAS, The half century of marriage that Mr. and
2020 Mrs. Moore have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of
2121 love and commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration
2222 to all who know them; now, therefore, be it
2323 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
2424 Legislature, hereby congratulate Robert and Judy Moore on their
2525 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
2626 for continued happiness; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
2828 prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard from the
2929 Texas Senate.
