| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, May 27, 2023, marks the 50th wedding anniversary |

| 3 | 3 | | of Robert and Judy Moore of Austin, and this joyous event |

| 4 | 4 | | provides a fitting opportunity to reflect on their rewarding |

| 5 | 5 | | journey together as husband and wife; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Moore first met in San Antonio in |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 1969 and were joined in matrimony in 1973 at Trinity Lutheran |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Church in Fort Worth; over the years, they have been blessed with |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | a treasured family that includes their daughters, Danielle and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Courtney, as well as their grandchildren, Brecken, Bolton, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Lucas, and Niko; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Mrs. Moore are both graduates of The University of Texas at |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Austin; Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | from Travis County, and Mrs. Moore has been a vice president at |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Prospera Financial Services since 1999; they have also been |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | active members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for more |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | than three decades; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, The half century of marriage that Mr. and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Mrs. Moore have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | love and commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | to all who know them; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Robert and Judy Moore on their |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
