5	5	WHEREAS, The family and friends of Alithia Haven Ramirez of
6	6	Uvalde suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of this
7	7	cherished young girl on May 24, 2022, at the age of 10; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Born in Jourdanton on April 28, 2012, Alithia
9	9	Haven Ramirez was the beloved daughter of Ryan Ramirez and
10	10	Jessica Hernandez; she grew up with the companionship of two
11	11	siblings, Jonah and Akeelah, who looked up to her as a role model,
12	12	and she was also blessed with numerous grandparents, aunts,
13	13	uncles, and cousins as part of her large extended family; and
14	14	WHEREAS, Alithia Haven Ramirez was admired for her
15	15	intelligence and reliability, as well as her kind and loving
16	16	nature, and she was always eager to help if anyone needed
17	17	anything; known for her passion and talent for art, she could
18	18	often be found with a crayon in hand working on her latest
19	19	drawing, and she had dreams of one day attending art school in
20	20	Paris on her way to becoming a professional artist and sharing
21	21	her creative gifts with the world; and
22	22	WHEREAS, Alithia Haven Ramirez brought a light into the
23	23	lives of her loved ones that can never be extinguished, and they
24	24	will forever keep her memory close in their hearts; now,
25	25	therefore, be it
26	26	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
27	27	Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Alithia Haven
28	28	Ramirez and extend deepest condolences to the members of her
29	29	family: to her parents, Ryan Ramirez and Jessica Hernandez; to
30	30	her siblings, Jonah and Akeelah Ramirez; to her grandparents,
31	31	Raynaldo Ramirez Sr. and Rosa Ramirez and Jose and Elizabeth
32	32	Aranda; to her aunts, Carina Aranda and Julissa Aranda; to her
33	33	uncles, Aquiles Aranda, Raynaldo Ramirez Jr., Ramon Frank
34	34	Ramirez, and Ricardo Ramirez; to her other relatives and friends;
35	35	and to the countless others in Uvalde and beyond who mourn her
36	36	passing; and, be it further
37	37	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
38	38	prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
39	39	this day, it do so in memory of Alithia Haven Ramirez.
