| 9 | 13 | | the 44th Annual Texas High School Mock Trial Competition at the |

| 10 | 14 | | George L. Allen Sr. Courts Building; and |
|---|
| 11 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The Dallas Bar Association Mock Trial Committee |

| 12 | 16 | | administers the statewide high school mock trial program, which |

| 13 | 17 | | was established to help students gain insight into courtroom |
|---|
| 14 | 18 | | procedure and develop skills in critical thinking and analysis; |

| 16 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Covenant Classical School's team was assigned a |

| 17 | 21 | | fictitious case for which the students were prepared by attorneys |

| 18 | 22 | | and judges to roleplay from the perspective of every trial |

| 20 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Covenant Classical School's team comprises of |

| 36 | 40 | | dedication, fine sportsmanship, and excellent teamwork |

| 37 | 41 | | throughout the school year, and they are a source of tremendous |

| 38 | 42 | | pride to their families, their school, and the Fort Worth |

| 40 | 44 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |

| 41 | 45 | | Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Covenant |

| 43 | 47 | | School Mock Trial Competition and extend to them best wishes for |
