| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | passing of William Kevin Gallagher of Mabank on March 22, 2023, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 70; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The son of Dr. William Gallagher and Gerry |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Kuskey, Bill Gallagher was born in Portland, Oregon, on September |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 4, 1952, and he grew up with the companionship of three siblings, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Debbie, Kerry, and David; answering his nation's call to duty, he |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | in Germany, and he was also a member of the Air National Guard in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Oregon; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Following his honorable discharge from the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | military, Mr. Gallagher began working as a regional manager for |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Chesebrough-Ponds; he went on to work in sales for Western Paper, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and in 1995, he started his own company, Primadata, Inc.; his |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | dedication to meeting the needs of the company's customers was |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | widely appreciated, and his strong work ethic set a positive |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | example for his staff; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Gallagher and his wife, Patty, married on |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | July 4, 2005, and they shared a fulfilling relationship that |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | spanned more than 17 years; he took great pride in his son, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Richard Kevin Gallagher, who preceded him in death, and in his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | two stepsons, Trinidad and Valentino; in his leisure time, he |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | enjoyed playing golf, grilling, watching NASCAR, and operating |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | remote control planes; he drew strength from his Christian faith |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | and was a member of the congregation at Sand Springs Church; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Although Bill Gallagher is deeply missed, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | memories of his integrity, his sense of humor, and his devotion |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | to his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | behind; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of William Kevin |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | Gallagher and extend sincere condolences to his loved ones; |

| 37 | 37 | | and, be it further |

| 38 | 38 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
