55 WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the
66 passing of William Kevin Gallagher of Mabank on March 22, 2023,
77 at the age of 70; and
88 WHEREAS, The son of Dr. William Gallagher and Gerry
99 Kuskey, Bill Gallagher was born in Portland, Oregon, on September
1010 4, 1952, and he grew up with the companionship of three siblings,
1111 Debbie, Kerry, and David; answering his nation's call to duty, he
1212 proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed
1313 in Germany, and he was also a member of the Air National Guard in
1414 Oregon; and
1515 WHEREAS, Following his honorable discharge from the
1616 military, Mr. Gallagher began working as a regional manager for
1717 Chesebrough-Ponds; he went on to work in sales for Western Paper,
1818 and in 1995, he started his own company, Primadata, Inc.; his
1919 dedication to meeting the needs of the company's customers was
2020 widely appreciated, and his strong work ethic set a positive
2121 example for his staff; and
2222 WHEREAS, Mr. Gallagher and his wife, Patty, married on
2323 July 4, 2005, and they shared a fulfilling relationship that
2424 spanned more than 17 years; he took great pride in his son,
2525 Richard Kevin Gallagher, who preceded him in death, and in his
2626 two stepsons, Trinidad and Valentino; in his leisure time, he
2727 enjoyed playing golf, grilling, watching NASCAR, and operating
2828 remote control planes; he drew strength from his Christian faith
2929 and was a member of the congregation at Sand Springs Church; and
3030 WHEREAS, Although Bill Gallagher is deeply missed,
3131 memories of his integrity, his sense of humor, and his devotion
3232 to his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves
3333 behind; now, therefore, be it
3434 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
3535 Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of William Kevin
3636 Gallagher and extend sincere condolences to his loved ones;
3737 and, be it further
3838 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
3939 prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
4040 this day, it do so in memory of Bill Gallagher.
