SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 649
WHEREAS, The 100th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly
cause for celebration, and Dale Peden is marking this momentous
milestone in her life on May 26, 2023; and
WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Archer City, Mrs. Peden
was born in 1923; she is a devoted mother to her children, and she
treasures time spent in the company of her loved ones; and
WHEREAS, Dale Peden has witnessed a panorama of change over
the course of a century, and she has met life's challenges and
opportunities with dignity and grace, earning the deep
admiration of all who are privileged to know her; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby congratulate Dale Peden on the joyous
occasion of her 100th birthday and extend to her sincere best
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Peden as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
