SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 674
WHEREAS, Ashley Merz has ably served her fellow Texans as
legislative director in the office of State Senator Donna
Campbell during the 88th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Merz has managed
such activities as bill analysis, scheduling, and coordination,
and her exceptional communication skills have allowed her to
effectively engage with stakeholders and build constructive
relationships with legislators and staff; and
WHEREAS, Through her leadership and collaborative
approach, Ms. Merz has fostered high morale in a positive work
environment, enhancing the productivity of the legislative team;
she has set a sterling example through her attention to detail
and willingness to go above and beyond, and her contributions to
carrying forth Senator Campbell's legislative agenda have helped
address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she
is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby commend Ashley Merz for her service as
legislative director in the office of State Senator Donna Campbell
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Ms. Merz as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
