SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 687
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Erik Zeinner participated in that joyful
occasion with his graduation from the McCallum Fine Arts Academy
in Austin in May 2023; and
WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will
soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at
McCallum Fine Arts Academy has created a lasting bond, and the
knowledge and experiences that Mr. Zeinner has gained there will
forever enrich his life; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Zeinner majored in band at McCallum; a
euphonium player, he helped the academy's marching band achieve a
sixth-place state finish in 2021, and he was a vital member of the
concert band that received UIL Sweepstakes Awards during all four
of his high school years; moreover, he has been actively involved
with scouting for more than a decade, and he is pursuing the rank
of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work
and dedication, and Mr. Zeinner can reflect with pride on the
perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family
and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright
with promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby congratulate Erik Zeinner on the occasion of
his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes
for continued success and a bright future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mr. Zeinner as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
