| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |

| 3 | 3 | | milestones, and Erik Zeinner participated in that joyful |

| 4 | 4 | | occasion with his graduation from the McCallum Fine Arts Academy |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | in Austin in May 2023; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | McCallum Fine Arts Academy has created a lasting bond, and the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | knowledge and experiences that Mr. Zeinner has gained there will |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | forever enrich his life; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Zeinner majored in band at McCallum; a |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | euphonium player, he helped the academy's marching band achieve a |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | sixth-place state finish in 2021, and he was a vital member of the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | concert band that received UIL Sweepstakes Awards during all four |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | of his high school years; moreover, he has been actively involved |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | with scouting for more than a decade, and he is pursuing the rank |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | of Eagle Scout; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and dedication, and Mr. Zeinner can reflect with pride on the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Erik Zeinner on the occasion of |

| 27 | 27 | | his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes |
