11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 687
22 WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
33 milestones, and Erik Zeinner participated in that joyful
44 occasion with his graduation from the McCallum Fine Arts Academy
55 in Austin in May 2023; and
66 WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will
77 soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at
88 McCallum Fine Arts Academy has created a lasting bond, and the
99 knowledge and experiences that Mr. Zeinner has gained there will
1010 forever enrich his life; and
1111 WHEREAS, Mr. Zeinner majored in band at McCallum; a
1212 euphonium player, he helped the academy's marching band achieve a
1313 sixth-place state finish in 2021, and he was a vital member of the
1414 concert band that received UIL Sweepstakes Awards during all four
1515 of his high school years; moreover, he has been actively involved
1616 with scouting for more than a decade, and he is pursuing the rank
1717 of Eagle Scout; and
1818 WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work
1919 and dedication, and Mr. Zeinner can reflect with pride on the
2020 perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; and
2121 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
2222 outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family
2323 and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright
2424 with promise; now, therefore, be it
2525 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
2626 Legislature, hereby congratulate Erik Zeinner on the occasion of
2727 his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes
2828 for continued success and a bright future; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
3030 prepared for Mr. Zeinner as an expression of high regard from the
3131 Texas Senate.
