SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 69
WHEREAS, Chad Anderson concluded his dedicated service on
the Celina City Council in 2022; and
WHEREAS, A Celina resident since 2003, Mr. Anderson has
been a member of the council for nine years; he was first elected
in 2013 to represent Place 6, and over the course of his tenure,
he has served on the finance and government committee and as
mayor pro tempore; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor's degree from
Tarleton State University, and he is the managing partner of the
Moyer-Anderson Insurance Group; deeply committed to his
community, he has been a board member of the Greater Celina
Chamber of Commerce since 2012; moreover, he is a volunteer at
Celina Cajun Fest and Oktoberfest as well as a youth sports
coach; and
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Anderson enjoys the
love and support of his wife, Michele, and their two children,
Molly and CJ; and
WHEREAS, The effective operation of government depends on
the able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, and Chad
Anderson may take pride in all that he has accomplished in behalf
of area residents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby commend Chad Anderson for his service on the
Celina City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mr. Anderson as an expression of high regard from
the Texas Senate.
