| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Chad Anderson concluded his dedicated service on the |

| 7 | 7 | | Celina City Council in 2022; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A Celina resident since 2003, Mr. Anderson has been |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | a member of the council for nine years; he was first elected in 2013 |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | to represent Place 6, and over the course of his tenure, he has |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | served on the finance and government committee and as mayor pro |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | tempore; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor's degree from |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Tarleton State University, and he is the managing partner of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Moyer-Anderson Insurance Group; deeply committed to his community, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | he has been a board member of the Greater Celina Chamber of Commerce |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | since 2012; moreover, he is a volunteer at Celina Cajun Fest and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Oktoberfest as well as a youth sports coach; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Anderson enjoys the love |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | and support of his wife, Michele, and their two children, Molly and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | CJ; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, The effective operation of government depends on the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, and Chad |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Anderson may take pride in all that he has accomplished in behalf of |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | area residents; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | hereby commend Chad Anderson for his service on the Celina City |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | be it further |
