56 BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
67 Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, That Senate Rule 12.03 be
78 suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the
8- conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on
9- House Bill 9 (the development and funding of broadband and

21- Safety Code.
22- (c) Notwithstanding Section 5, Chapter 10 (S.B. 8), Acts
23- of the 87th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, 2021, the
24- comptroller of public accounts may not use funds appropriated
25- under that section to support the Texas Broadband Pole
26- Replacement Program established under Section 403.503,
27- Government Code, as added by Chapter 659 (H.B. 1505), Acts of the
28- 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, after the effective
29- date of this Act.
17+ (a) The comptroller of public accounts shall make a one-time
18+ transfer in the amount of $155,200,000 from the broadband
