5 | 5 | | spanned nearly three decades; and |

6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Craymer joined TTARA in 1997, and he served as |
---|
7 | 7 | | chief economist before being promoted to president in 2009; under |
---|
8 | 8 | | his able leadership, the organization has served as an effective |
---|
9 | 9 | | advocate for responsible fiscal and tax policy in Texas and has |
---|
10 | 10 | | provided its members with important information, analysis, and |
---|
11 | 11 | | resources; and |
---|
12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Engaged in his professional community, |
---|
13 | 13 | | Mr. Craymer is a member of the Business Tax Advisory Committee of |
---|
14 | 14 | | Texas and the National Taxpayers Conference, and he has served on |
---|
15 | 15 | | the executive boards of the National Association of State Budget |
---|
16 | 16 | | Officers and the Council of Governors' Policy Advisors; before |
---|
17 | 17 | | joining TTARA, he served as deputy director of the Office of |
---|
18 | 18 | | Budget and Planning for Governor George Bush, as director of the |
---|
19 | 19 | | Office of Budget and Planning for Governor Ann Richards, as |
---|
20 | 20 | | fiscal analyst for Speaker of the House Gib Lewis, and as |
---|
21 | 21 | | director of the Office of Revenue Estimating for Comptroller Bob |

22 | 22 | | Bullock; he holds a master's degree in economics from The |

23 | 23 | | University of Texas at Austin; and |

24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Craymer enjoys the love |

25 | 25 | | and support of his wife, Theresa, and he takes great pride in |
---|
26 | 26 | | their children, Kyle, Jason, and Lily; and |

27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Dale Craymer has greatly benefited his fellow |

28 | 28 | | Texans through his skill, dedication, and professionalism, and |
---|
29 | 29 | | he may indeed reflect with pride on a career well spent; now, |

31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
