5+ SENATE RESOLUTION
26 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
37 recognize Ellis County Precinct Two, which recently marked 3,000
48 days of no lost time accidents; and
59 WHEREAS, Located in North Texas, Ellis County Precinct Two
610 is led by Commissioner Lane Grayson; the precinct's dedicated and
711 hardworking employees serve the residents and communities of
812 Ellis County with diligence and integrity and are responsible for
913 maintaining local roads and bridges, including more than 230
1014 miles of rural roadways in the county; and
1115 WHEREAS, Achieving 3,000 days of no lost time accidents
1216 represents the precinct's commitment to safety and its
1317 successful prevention of employee injuries requiring workers'
1418 compensation throughout this time; Ellis County Precinct Two
1519 recorded 3,000 days of no lost time on March 20, 2023; and
1620 WHEREAS, The precinct's administrators and employees work
1721 hard to promote public safety and consistently strive for
1822 excellence in serving the residents of Ellis County; their
1923 outstanding efforts have contributed to setting an exemplary
2024 standard in workplace safety, and they are indeed deserving of
2125 special recognition for reaching this notable milestone; now,
2226 therefore, be it
2327 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
2428 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend the leaders and
2529 employees of Ellis County Precinct Two on their commitment to
2630 workplace safety and congratulate them on 3,000 days of no lost
2731 time; and, be it further
2832 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2933 the precinct as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
