2	6		WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	7		recognize Ellis County Precinct Two, which recently marked 3,000
4	8		days of no lost time accidents; and
5	9		WHEREAS, Located in North Texas, Ellis County Precinct Two
6	10		is led by Commissioner Lane Grayson; the precinct's dedicated and
7	11		hardworking employees serve the residents and communities of
8	12		Ellis County with diligence and integrity and are responsible for
9	13		maintaining local roads and bridges, including more than 230
10	14		miles of rural roadways in the county; and
11	15		WHEREAS, Achieving 3,000 days of no lost time accidents
12	16		represents the precinct's commitment to safety and its
13	17		successful prevention of employee injuries requiring workers'
14	18		compensation throughout this time; Ellis County Precinct Two
15	19		recorded 3,000 days of no lost time on March 20, 2023; and
16	20		WHEREAS, The precinct's administrators and employees work
17	21		hard to promote public safety and consistently strive for
18	22		excellence in serving the residents of Ellis County; their
19	23		outstanding efforts have contributed to setting an exemplary
20	24		standard in workplace safety, and they are indeed deserving of
21	25		special recognition for reaching this notable milestone; now,
22	26		therefore, be it
23	27		RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
24	28		Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend the leaders and
25	29		employees of Ellis County Precinct Two on their commitment to
26	30		workplace safety and congratulate them on 3,000 days of no lost
27	31		time; and, be it further
28	32		RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
29	33		the precinct as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
