| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Ella Bea Haywood of Foreman, Arkansas, passed |

| 6 | 6 | | away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving behind a wide |

| 7 | 7 | | circle of loved ones to cherish her memory; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Foreman, Arkansas, on July 15, 1944, the |

| 9 | 9 | | former Ella Bea French was the daughter of Galvester French Sr. |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | and Lula Mae Compton French; she grew up with the companionship |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | of six brothers and seven sisters; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Haywood was preceded in death by her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | husband, Sylvester Haywood Sr., with whom she raised two sons, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Mark and Sylvester, and four daughters, Lisa, Margaret, Penny, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and Edna; she was further blessed with 12 grandchildren, Mark, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Ashlee, Tyler, Dayton, Sa'Ron, Taylor, Aspen, Brandon, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Christopher, Ishiah, Samiya, and Cayden, as well as 14 |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; she devoted |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | herself to her faith as a member of Royal Chapel Baptist Church in |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Foreman; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ella Bea Haywood lived a full and generous life |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | surrounded by those she loved, and they will forever carry her |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State, Texas 88th |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |

| 26 | 26 | | of Ella Bea Haywood and extend deepest sympathy to the members of |

| 27 | 27 | | her family: to her son, Mark Haywood, and his wife, Ellen; to her |

| 28 | 28 | | daughters, Lisa, Margaret, Penny, and Edna Haywood; to her |

| 29 | 29 | | siblings, Galvester French Jr., Willie, J. R., Bobby, Ronnie, and |
