| 13 | 14 | | dedication, and effectiveness in combating drug-related crimes; |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Agent Mireles has 32 years of experience working in |

| 16 | 17 | | law enforcement, and he has specialized in the field of drug |

| 18 | 19 | | Houston Police Department, the McAllen Police Department, and the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney's Office - High Intensity |

| 20 | 21 | | Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force; from fiscal year 2022 |

| 21 | 22 | | investigations alone, his accumulated seizures included over 120 |

| 22 | 23 | | kilograms of cocaine and nearly 300 grams of methamphetamine, as |

| 23 | 24 | | well as some $300,000 in U.S. currency; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Through his commitment to the highest standards of |

| 25 | 26 | | his profession, Joe Mireles has helped promote public safety in the |
