6- WHEREAS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum

84 WHEREAS, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) include 13 heritable
95 connective tissue disorders that together affect an estimated 1 in
106 5,000 people; each disorder has its own set of symptoms, but all
117 types of EDS are characterized by joint hypermobility, skin
128 hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility; and
139 WHEREAS, Hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) are
1410 connective tissue disorders that cause joint hypermobility,
15- instability, injury, and pain; in addition, other symptoms such as
16- fatigue, headaches, gastrointestinal problems, and autonomic
